We at ETimes reached out to Shefali Shah, who plays Alia’s mother in the film. When we told her about some men’s rage on Twitter, Shefali quipped, “I don’t want to dignify this with a comment.”
A couple of days ago, Alia had spoken to us on a host of subjects, including ‘Darlings’. For those who missed that interview, please see the video below:
In ‘Darlings’, Alia plays Badrunissa, a domestic abuse victim, who sets out to take revenge on her husband Hamza (Vijay Varma) for ill-treating her. The movie is directed by Jasmeet K Reen.
